WASHINGTON, DC: KIM SCOTT AT BLUES ALLEY
Kim (Felder) Scott, one of the most sought after flutists in both the classical and jazz fields, will perform at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141) on Wednesday, July 9th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she has performed across the country and abroad since 2000 in recitals, concerts, and with her flute and harp ensemble, Kimoni Duo, with Monica Hargrave, harp. Ms. Scott has also been featured as a soloist with professional combos and orchestras across the United States and South America. Currently, she is Chair of the Department of Music at the Alabama School of Fine Arts where she teaches flute.
