NYC: CHONDRA L. PROFIT - A JAZZED UP WOMAN

Chondra La-Tease Profit will perform her show 'A Jazzed Up Woman' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Sunday, July 13th at 7:00 pm. As a toddler, while watching her mother direct stage plays, Chondra La-Tease Profit, fell in love with the arts. That love increased and was further nurtured as she attended The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SDSCPA). She continued to pursue her passion of theatre and received a BFA from The American Music of Dramatic Academy of the Arts (AMDA). Chondra's most recent theatre work includes: Broadway: The Lion King/ Sarabi U.S.Nala; International Tours: The Ebony Fashion Fair/Commentator; Jingle Bell Rock/Lead Vocalist; IChoose/Mrs. G, Regional: A Chorus Line/Shelia, Aida/Nehebka, Ragtime/Sarah's Friend, Once On This Island/Timoune. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: 54 SINGS SONGS FROM HELLO, DOLLY!

'54 Sings Songs From Hello, Dolly!' will be presented at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Sunday, July 13th at with shows at 7:30 & 9:30 pm. The room will be swayin' and the band playin' when some of Broadway's best tip their hats (with ribbons down the back, of course), to this treasured Jerry Herman score. Be there!•Before the Parade Passes By! Cast includes Jim Brochu, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Beth Leavel, Sondra Lee (the ORIGINAL Minnie Fay!), Molly Pop, Lee Roy Reams, and Jana Robbins. Performing in the ensemble: Jeremy Abram, Daryl Glenn, Miles Phillips & Lisa Sabin. There is a $50-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: MARK JANAS' SALON: "COME AS YOU ARE - AN ANYTHING GOES POT POURRI!"

SALON - that unique, Multiple Award Winning, Weekly Open Mic Event, created and hosted by Mark Janas continues at ETCETERA ETCETERA(352 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-399-4141) on Sundays from 7:00 to 10:30 pm (sign-up begins at 6:15 pm). The optional theme for Sunday evening July 13th is "Come As You Are - An Anything Goes Pot Pourri!". Co-Hosts are Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano. Remember, any material, on or off theme, is always welcome at Salon. There are no reservations; seating is on a first come/ first served basis, with one intermission. There is a $10 cash cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

Each week David presents the usual blend of big-band jazz, swing, standards, showtunes, contemporary cabaret and celebrity interviews plus MEGA-MEDLEY MADNESS. This Sunday David will present another 2 hours of recorded songs and live & recorded interviews from the worlds of cabaret & Broadway featuring "Testing 123, Testing" the show's Summer Programming begins. As announced, it will be a completely relaxed Free-Form format.
