NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW
Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge.
NYC: DOROTHY BISHOP AND THE DOZEN DIVAS SHOW
Dorothy Bishop brings her 'Dozen Divas Show to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, September 24th at 9:30 pm. The show is directed by John Paolillo and written by Dorothy Bishop and James Jorden. A Yale trained soprano, Dorothy's incredible versatility and outrageous sense of humor landed her as a finalist on America's got Talent Season 4. She has headlined and emcee'd events all over the world including Soloist at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops, First Broadway National Tour of Master Class (Starring Faye Dunaway) Her own headline act (Viva la Diva) on the world's top luxury liners - Queen Mary 2, Royal Caribbean, Regent Seven Seas, and is presently touring with her own musical comedy The Dozen Divas Show. She has played the ultra fabulous and top chic clubs of NYC including Broadway's New Klub Kazino and 42nd Streets hottest new nightclub - XL. There is a $22 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: GINGER BESS: THE GOLDEN AGE OF JAZZ
The Golden Age of Jazz concert, starring Ginger Bess, will be presented at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Wednesday, September 24th at 7:00 pm. The show explores the great American songbook with musicians that play with style and panache. Ginger's repertoire includes a wealth of beautiful jazz standards and her silky voice has been said to remine one of the legendary Rosemary Clooney. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Gary Lizardo will be singing songs written for leading men of stage and screen at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, September 24th at 7:00 pm. Gary has appeared in several NYC productions including: "Victor Victoria" (King Marchand), "Jekyll And Hyde - The Musical" (Sir Danvers Carew), "Elegies For Angels, Punks And Raging Queens" (Mitch and Nat), "Bare - The Pop Opera" (Priest), "The Importance Of Being Earnest" (Frederick Chasuble), "Mrs. Warren's Profession" (Sir George Crofts), "Saint Joan" (Robert DeBeaudricourt), "702 Punchlines N Pregnant" (Nelson Zee), and his own Cabaret show, "Pieces Of Dreams". Proceeds from the event will be donated to "Help Is On The Way" . There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
