LONDON: MICHAEL DORE VEGAS BOUND - CELEBRATING THE BRITISH STARS WHO MADE IT BIG IN THE DESERT
BBC Radio 2 favourite Michael Dore sings the songs of Matt Monro, Anthony Newley, Tom Jones, Noel Coward and more ... with a few surprises ... at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, October 5th at 8:00 pm. Michael began his career as a member of the acclaimed Swingle Singers. Since then, his international career has taken him to concert stages throughout Europe, North America, Asia, the Caribbean and South Africa, performing with many of the world's leading orchestras including the New York and Berlin Philharmonics. Theatre roles have included West Side Story with Sir Simon Rattle & the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, Jesus Christ Superstar with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Guys & Dolls at the Royal Festival Hall and many others. His busy film recording schedule has included soundtracks such as Shrek 2, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. He is often featured on BBC Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night and worked with Adele on her Bond movie track, Skyfall. Musical Director: Richard Weeden. Call for cover/minimum information.
