PALM SPRINGS, CA: JACI DAVIS AT ARTHUR NEWMAN THEATER
Jaci Davis returns in her new show "Live! Laugh! Love!" at THE ARTHUR NEWMAN THEATRE at the JOSLYN CENTER (73-750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert, CA - TKTS: 760-325-2731) on Sunday, August 16th at 2:00 pm. Jaci's show there last season broke all attendance records and she will once again be joined by The Derrik Lewis Trio. Presented by Les Michaels' Life Is A Cabaret Sundays In Summer Series, Jaci's show will feature songs that are standards from Jazz, Broadway, and The Great American Songbook. Jaci Davis is a well-known local vocalist, music director, piano and voice teacher who holds both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music. She plays and singer regularly at several local churches and clubs throughout the valley. Her show, "Live! Laugh! Love" on August 16th will have music provided by The Derrik Lewis Trio. Derrik Lewis is known for his numerous TV, film, and stage credits as an actor and singer, including his role as a series regular on Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, and leads in Gigi, Peter Pan, La Cage Aux Folles, and Zanadu at Palm Canyon Theatre, and as producer of the Musical Chairs series. He has entertained audiences for over 40 years in clubs, major hotels, and cruise liners Worldwide, working with such legends as Bobby Short, Margaret Whiting and The Page Cavanaugh Trio, and performs Tuesdays and Thursdays at Tropicale's Coral Seas Lounge in Palm Springs. $11 cash only tickets available at the box office at 1:00 pm.

Ria Carey & Don L., local celebrities in the piano bar circuit and the San Diego Theatre Community, perform on Sunday nights at MARTINI'S ABOVE FOURTH (3940 4th Avenue, San Diego, CA - 619-400-4500) from 6:30 to 10:30 pm. Ria is known for her sultry alto belt and comic one liners and Don L. for his amazing tenor and piano skills. Together, their dynamic harmonies inspire audience participation and create a unique atmosphere of musical moments. With powerful renditions of Country, Soft Rock, Pop, Motown, Classical Standards and Broadway Showtunes, they have been referred to as "the human jukeboxes." No cover.
