NYC: LISA S. DONTZIN'S FAIRYTALE FACTS AT THE DUPLEX

Fairytale Facts will be presented at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Monday, January 19th at 7:00 pm and Monday, January 26th, also at 7:00 pm. The show is an actors nightmare with a touching look at aging and beauty. Written and performed by Lisa S. Dontzin. Andrew Nordin opens the show on 19th & 26th. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: LUTHER VANDROSS TRIBUTE AT THE MET

Award Winning Cabaret Producer Joseph Macchia brings his new series "Gone Too Soon - A tribute to singers who have left us way too early" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). For the first show of the series, on Monday, January 19th at 7:00 pm, some of the best singers in New York City will pay tribute to Luther Vandross. The evening will be musical directed by Maestro Yaz. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: THE METROPOLITAN ROOM PRESENTS "STAGE TIME OPEN MIC"

THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) presents "Stage Time Open Mic" on Monday, January 19th at 7:00 pm with Maestro Yaz and Michael Lewis Mejia. Singers are invited to get attend and get some Stage Time in front of other performers and audience members In a relaxed, piano lounge environment. NYC: ALL-STAR FUNDRAISING FESTIVAL FOR BROADWAY UNPLUGGED AND THE NIGHTLIFE AWARDS

Offering an unprecedented, double-barreled series of fundraising events with major stars from Broadway and cabaret stages, Scott Siegel is going all out to raise the necessary funds to put on Broadway Unplugged and The Nightlife Awards with 2 special shows at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). The first show was presented Tuesday, January 13th at 7:00 pm. The second event is scheduled for Monday, January 19th at 7:00 pm, featuring Tom Wopat, Mary Testa, Christina Bianco, Barbara Walsh, Julie Gold, Kyle Scatliffe, Milla Illieva, Lumiri Tubo, Jason Gotay and more! Musical Director is Tedd Firth. There is a $50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum for each show

NYC: SIMPLY SCOTT ALAN & FRIENDS AT 54 BELOW

Simply Scott Alan - An intimate concert with composer Scott Alan and today's brightest stars, will be presented on Monday, January 19th at 7:00 pm at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551). Acclaimed songwriter Scott Alan will make his debut at 54 Below in an evening of songs featured from his five successful albums including Dreaming Wide Awake, Keys, What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up, LIVE and Anything Worth Holding On To, as well as songs from his musicals, Home & ifi. After sold out concerts around the world, Alan will be returning to the New York City stage after over a year and a half away. With Alan at the piano and some of today's brightest Broadway stars and recording artists, this will be an intimate night of storytelling and supreme vocalists. Alan has written songs for a long list of Broadway and recording stars, including Lea Salonga, Sutton Foster, Samantha Barks, Ramin Karimloo, Jane Monheit, Pentatonix, Marc Broussard, Megan Hilty, Diana DeGarmo, Jonathan Groff, Liz Callaway, Jeremy Jordan, Taylor Dayne, Randy Graff, and many more. NYC: LAUREN ELDER AT 54 BELOW

Lauren Elder, recently appearing in Side Show on Broadway, brings together a night of music, fun, and friends in her solo debut at 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, January 19th at 9:30 pm. Backed by her band of misfits and outcasts, she'll be singing songs you know, songs you don't, songs you thought you knew, and songs she wrote. A world-class whistler as well, you can be sure she'll be puckering her lips a lot. Special Broadway guests will be announced soon. Lauren Elder is an actress, singer-songwriter and whistler living in New York City. She has been seen on HBO's Boardwalk Empire and in the Broadway and West End revivals of Hair. Lauren blends the sweet sounds of the ukulele with influences of folk, jazz and pop to create her unique, whimsical sound, which she then records in her closet, huddled between her vintage dresses. There is a $25-$60 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
