A two month period of frustration launched a struggling artist into writing a string of very personal "Dear God" journal entries and will for the first time Amy Leigh Abelson will be reading the uncensored letters aloud accompanied by musical favorites at DAVENPORT'S(1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Monday, January 19th at 8:00 pm. Sharing the vulnerable truths of her own relatable bittersweet dramedy will guide audiences through a journey of self reflection, present appreciation, and hope.They will find by peeking behind the artist's closed doors and locked journals that their own secret fears and frustrations are both discussion worthy and commonly shared. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
