He sold out his shows last month, he stole their hears at the MABEL MERCER CONVENTION and now he's back at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) to celebrate with his show 'Christmas In New York' on Sunday, November 30th at 8:15 pm & Monday, December 1st at 7:00 pm. The show will pay tribute to the Big Apple, which celebrates this magical time of the year like no other city in the world. The show will include familiar seasonal songs by Irving Berlin, Steve Allen, Don Costa, Marilyn & Alan Bergman, Jay Livingston, Ray Evans, Paul Lincke, Johnny Mercer, Mel Torme, Cy Coleman, Carolyn Leigh, Burton Lane, Dorothy Fields, Katherine Davis, Henry Onorati, Harry Simeone, J. Fred Coots, Henry Gillespie, Ted Shapiro, Felix Bernard, Richard B. Smith, and Leslie Bricusse; relatively new holiday tunes by Ronny Whyte, Roger Schore, Francesca Blumenthal, Sue Matsuki, and Paul Stephan; and songs indirectly related to Christmas by Portia Nelson, Marvin Hamlisch, Fred Ebb, Cole Porter, and Stephen Sondheim. Richard will be accompanied by the Tom Nelson Trio (Tom Nelson on piano, Tom Kirchmer on bass, and John Redsecker on drums). Richard Barclay will direct the show. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
