NYC: 11 O'CLOCK NUMBERS AT 7 O'CLOCK AT BIRDLAND

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce the return of 11 O'Clock Numbers at 7 O'Clock on Monday, December 8th at 7:00 pm. The critically acclaimed musical revue that ran at Feinstein's at the Regency for 8 months, then performed two sold-out shows at Birdland, returns to BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080 - ) with its original cast reunited. The show stars singer and actress Christina Bianco, whose YouTube videos have gained more than 19 million views worldwide. She has become an international phenomenon who has performed on major TV shows across the U.S. and U.K.; Carole J. Bufford. who has since become a major cabaret and concert star, compared to likes of Barbra, Judy, and others; and Scott Coulter, who has starred in an Emmy-Nominated PBS Special, plus performed in and directed major concert events across the country. This extraordinary trio of performers, with a unique chemistry, will join together one more time to perform 11 O'Clock Numbers at 7 O'Clock, a musical revue that features some of the most famous theater songs every written, and that many consider one of the most sophisticated and outstanding nightclub shows of the last decade. Conceived and produced by concert impresario Scott Siegel of Broadway by the Year fame, directed by Scott Coulter, with musical direction by John Fischer. There is a $30 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.

NYC: JIM CARUSO'S "CAST PARTY" MONDAYS AT BIRDLANDFEATURED OPEN MIC EVENT

Every Monday night at 9:30 pm, Broadway impresario Jim Caruso hosts "Cast Party", a combination open-mic, networking event and party at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) during which the biggest stars on Broadway relax on their night off by performing their favorite songs in an informal setting. Cast Party is a mix of music, impromptu performance and cocktail party revelry, where showbiz superstars, stunning jazz talents and cabaret glitterati hit the stage alongside up-and-comers to serve up jaw-dropping music and general razzle-dazzle. It's the ultimate spot to mix and mingle with talented show folk and their fans. There is a $20 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.

NYC: MAYA AZUCENA'S HOLIDAY SHOW AT THE BLUE NOTE

MTV Made's Award winning singer-activist Maya Azucena will bring her Holiday Show to THE BLUE NOTE (131 West 3rd Street, NYC - 212-475-8592 - ) on Monday, December 8th with shows at 8:00 & 10:30 pm. Azucena is a global artist making music that matters. She recently joined a prestigious line-up of artists, including Jill Scott, Maxwell and Beyonce, at 2013 Essence Fest in New Orleans, and was selected to showcase on the invite-only secret stage in the Grammy Museum, produced by BET for BETX. Self-described as sounding like "The Roots if fronted by a singer with 4-octaves," Billboard and the Washington Post have heralded her mesmerizing performances. Appreciated by many artists in the worlds of hip-hop, soul, jazz, dance and reggae, Maya has been part of countless collaborations, including a feature on Stephen Marley's Grammy-winning CD "Mind Control," for which she won a Grammy certificate, and performances or recordings with artists as wide-ranging as Marcus Miller, iNi Kamoze, DJ Spinna, Cormega, Eminem, Mr. Cheeks, Roberta Flack, Immortal Technique, Vernon Reid, Bob Sinclair and Jonathan Peters. In 2010, Maya was heard on multiple tracks from the critically acclaimed album Pickin' Up The Pieces by Fitz and The Tantrums. Her music has been featured on HBO's The Wire and her likeness on NBC's 30 Rock. NYC: MANHATTAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC AFRO-CUBAN JAZZ ORCHESTRA AT DIZZY'S

The Manhattan School of Music Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra with Bobby Sanabria, Artistic Director & Conductor, will perform at DIZZY'S CLUB AT JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER (33 West 60th Street, NYC - 212-258-9595 - ) on Monday, December 8th with shows at 7:30 & 9:30 pm. The Manhattan School of Music has long been a fixture of the New York music scene and prides itself as one of the first conservatories in the U.S. to acknowledge the prime importance of jazz as an art form. The popular Manhattan School of Music Afro-Cuban Orchestra, comprised of some of the most talented young musicians around, returns to Dizzy's Club under the direction of multi-GRAMMY Award nominee Bobby Sanabria. Tonight, the award-winning ensemble will perform works by Don Ellis, Frank Zappa, Hermeto Pascoal, and new Afro-Cuban and Latin-tinged pieces by emerging composers and arrangers. There is a $35 cover.
