CABARET TONIGHT IN TOR: KIKI MISUMI AT THE JAZZ BISTRO
Cellist and vocalist Kiki Misumi and first-call guitarist Reg Schwager join musical and creative forces as they celebrate the phenomenal music of Brazil at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) on Wednesday & Thursday, September 4th & 5th at 9:00 pm. Kiki Misumi is a cellist /singer /songwriter whose original works have been featured in various televised programmes and live performances to the delight of both music lovers and arts journalists. As a cellist who sings while playing, Kiki is an outstanding performer - resonating charm, sincerity and depth. Kiki and her husband, guitarist Reg Schwager have a passion for and love of the music of Brazil, and with Brazilian drummer Maninho Costa, pianist Tom Szczesniak and bassist Pat Collins they will take you on a musical journey of exploration into this hauntingly beautiful music. There is a $15 cover.
