CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Singer, Moira Danis, will celebrate her 2013 Bistro Award for Outstanding Recording with a special performance at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Sunday, March 24th at 3:00 pm. The show will highlight songs from the CD (by the likes of Stephen Sondheim, Jimmy Webb, Fran Landesman, Sara Bareilles and others) along with material from her previous recordings, I Wish and Beautiful Sounds - The Songs of Petula Clark, all available at CDBaby.com. Music Director Wells Hanley, who received the 2012 Bistro Award for Recording with Parker Scott for Selecting Souvenirs, will be on piano and vocals, with Scott and Andre Montgomery on hand to help re-create some of the gorgeous harmonies from the CD. The show has been directed by Bistro Award winning director, Gerry Geddes. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
