NYC: STACY SULLIVAN OPENS NEW "EAST SIDE LATE NIGHTS" SERIES
MAC AWARD NOMINEECELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Bistro Award and MAC Award winner Stacy Sullivan will open the New "East Side Late Nights" Music Series at THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-570-7189) with "It's a Good Day: A Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee" on Friday & Saturday, March 1st & 2nd at 10:45 pm. She is joined by her musical director Jon Weber with Steve Doyle on bass. Peggy Lee was a Grammy-winning, defining voice of jazz and the American Songbook, and a composer/lyricist of note. In her long career, Ms. Lee penned the score for Disney's "Lady and the Tramp" as well as music and/or lyrics for "Black Coffee," "It's a Good Day," "The Shining Sea," "I Love Being Here With You" and many, many more. Ms. Sullivan has just returned from a sold out engagement at the London club, The Crazy Coqs where she performed this show to rave reviews. There is a $30 cover plus a $40 food/drink minimum.
