Jazz pianist/composer; 5-time Grammy nominee Fred Hersch will perform at SCULLERS JAZZ CLUB (400 Soldiers Field Road, Allston, MA - 617-562-4111 - ) on Thursday, February 28th at 8:00 pm. His recording "The Fred Hersch Trio - Alive At The Vanguard" has been awarded the Grand Prix - Categorie Jazz - for 2012" by the French Academie Charles Cros, which is the oldest and most prestigious institution in France giving awards to records, founded in 1947.
