NYC: ANGELO BRINGS NOTORIOUS P.O.P. TO THE MET
NYC's newly lauded "Pop Poet" and "Narcissus Drowned" singer Angelo brings together a collection of original and notorious Pop songs for an intimate showcase at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, February 28th at 9:30 pm. A shotgun vocalist with a penchant for improv, Angelo weaves together an impressive mash-up of pop favorites with razor sharp wit and hysterical storylines. Fresh from a whirlwind year of album promotion and international club appearances (London Fashion Week, Sydney Fest, Sonar Barcelona) Angelo brings the body acoustic to The Metropolitan Room for his fourth appearance with brand new music in tow. Accompanying Angelo is renowned musical director/composer/performer Daniel Lincoln with a special guest appearance by Jose Mendez. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
