NYC: MARTHA LORIN IN "LOVE SONGS FOR JAZZ LOVERS"
Award winning jazz singer, Martha Lorin, brings her new show "Love Songs for Jazz Lovers" to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, February 11th at 9:30 pm. She is joined by Vic Juvis on Guitar and Harvie S on Bass. "Love Songs for Jazz Lovers" will include love songs from the jazz songbook, besides songs written by Martha herself. Martha is constantly exploring the jazz landscape with a spirit of lifting and broadening her musical acumen. Her explorations have presented the opportunity to work with a wide range of world class musicians, including, Paul Smith, Benny Green, Richard Wyands, Harvie S, Eddie Marshall, Monty Budwig, Leon Joyce, Butch Miles, and Mark Isham.
