I ran into Craig Pomranz a week or so ago at Bob Diamond's great little cabaret show at DON'T TELL MAMA and he was bemoaning the fact that for the first time in about a half dozen years he would not be performing his annual Valentine's Day show at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM! The show usually sells out, and Craig is known coast to coast as one of the most romantic of singer around. But all is not lost. He wrote us the other day that the show is back, but at a new location, just 10 blocks north: THE CUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900). Showtime is 8:00 pm and the cover is $25 ($20 if you order early). As always, Craig is joined by his longtime accompanist, Stephen Bocchino! Maybe a new tradition has begun!
