NYC: STEVE DOYLE WITH CD RELEASE SHOW AT 54 BELOW
One of New York's favorite bassists, Steve Doyle, will perform at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Thursday, August 9th at 8:00 pm. He's known and loved as the tall guy on the strings for vocalists ranging from Linda Lavin, Tony Desare and Marilyn Maye, among others. Steve is also an accomplished pianist and vocalist. Now, at long last, audiences everywhere will have the chance to see the full extent of his artistry when he releases his new CD, Home to You, featuring an array of music including tunes by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Dietz and Schwartz, and even two original tunes. There is a $15 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
