NYC: SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED MOVES TO 54 BELOW
Following its unprecedented eighteen month NYC run in 2010 & 2011, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, the show that celebrates Sondheim and his legendary career debuts at 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Friday, August 10th at 8:00 pm. Sondheim Unplugged features some of Broadway and cabaret's most dynamic voices, accompanied by piano only. Expect tunes from A Little Night Music, Company, Into the Woods, Follies, Passion, Dick Tracy and more. The special guest is Broadway's original Johanna from Sweeney Todd, Sarah Rice. Sondheim Unplugged is hosted by series creator, Phil Geoffrey Bond, who will fill the audience in on Sondheim facts, history and assorted tidbits of theatrical lore. There is a $20-$30 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
