The St. Louis Cabaret Festival takes place this weekend, Friday through Sunday, August 10th, 11th & 12th atTHE BISTRO AT GRAND CENTER(3536 Washington Avenue, St. Louis, MO - 314-289-4030). The event is held in connection with the annual St. Louis Cabaret Conference , a training programs for cabaret performers and is the culminating event of 4 days of intensive cabaret training, produced by Tim Schall. The festival features Broadway/Cabaret star Karen Mason on Opening Night, at 8:00 pm; Barbara Fasano, Eric Comstock, Jason Graae and Rick Jensen on Saturday at 8:00 pm; and a special St. Louis Cabaret Conference Showcase on Sunday at 7:00 pm when 20 singers who took part in the conference take to the stage for a celebration of their work! The gala is directed by Jason Graae and Barbara Fasano with music direction by Eric Comstock and Rick Jensen.
