NYC: JILLIAN LAURAIN WITH "RHYTHMIC INFUSION" AT THE MET
Jillian Laurain will be combining her love of dance, rhythm and song in an evening that includes songs by Duke Ellington, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Cole Porter, Lauren Robert, Leslie Bricusse at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, May 19th at 7:00 pm. Her show "Rhythmic Infusion" brings together the sounds of R&B, samba, bossa nova, Brazilian and Cuban rhythms. She is backed by Musical Director Barry Levitt, along with Tom Hubbard on bass, Ed Ornowski on drums, Sean Harkness on guitar and Emedin Rivera on congas. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
