Jazz cabaret duo Ann Osmond and Dennis Yerry return to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with their show "Skyscrapers and Mountaintops ... the best of both worlds" on Wednesday, April 4th & Sunday, April 15th, both shows at 9:30 pm. This newly-minted show celebrates the vibrancy and cacophany of cultured city life and the contrasting serenity of life lived in tune with the rhythms of nature. The program spans many decades and styles, including songs by Billy Strayhorn, Irving Berlin, Abbey Lincoln, Frank Loesser, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Rodgers & Hart. Ann Osmond is a singer and actor with roots in the theatre and Dennis Yerry is an accomplished jazz pianist and composer. Their compelling arrangements of jazz standards, The Great American Songbook and more - and a vocal blend that is a rare treat - add up to a signature sound that brings fresh energy to much-loved songs. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
