NYC: METROJAM WEEKLY OPEN MIC MOVES UPTOWN TO MAMA'S

METROJAM, the weekly cabaret/jazz open mic event hosted by Jenna Esposito, is movin' on up! MetroJam now now being held every first and third Tuesday of the month from 9:15 to 11:00 pm at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). Jenna Esposito. Accompaniment is provided by the MetroJam house band: John DiPinto on piano, Ritt Henn on bass, and Bobby Sher on drums. Sparkles and homemade cookies are provided for all attendees at every MetroJam. SPECIAL GUEST TONIGHT: Sharon McNight!!!  Open-mic performers have a chance to perform with a full jazz band. If you're planning to perform, please arrive early to sign up and be sure to bring two copies of your music (up-tempos are recommended!). There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $10 cover for anyone who performs at MetroJam that evening! $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
