NYC: SHARON McNIGHT WITH "MEN OF NOTE" AT THE METROPOLITAN
Sharon McNight will premiere her new show, MEN OF NOTE! at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, April 2nd; Wednesday, April 4th; and Saturday, April 7th, all shows at 7:00 pm. "MEN OF NOTE!" is comprised of songs written by "living" male songwriters including composers Stephen Schwartz, Craig Carnelia, Randy Newman, John Prine, Bob Dylan and others. Always present in any Sharon McNight show are her spot-on comedic observations about all things human, in-human and super human. Ian Herman accompanies with the Ian Herman Trio. Chris Zelno and Kristopher Monroe provide vocal backup. This show follows in the footsteps of her highly acclaimed, New York Nightlife Award winning salute to "living" female songwriters, "Ladies! Compose Yourselves". There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
