NYC: LINDA LAVIN & FRIENDS IN CONCERT
The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce the return of Linda Lavin on Monday, December 5th at 7:00 pm at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080 ). Lavin is currently starring in the off-Broadway hit, The Lyons at the Vineyard Theater. She will be joined onstage at Birdland by Broadway and TV veteran Nancy Dussault, as well as her three co-stars from The Lyons, Kate Jennings Grant (Guys and Dolls), Michael Esper (American Idiot) and Brenda Pressley (Dreamgirls). Pianist Billy Stritch will be musical director for the concert, with Steve Bakunas on drums and Steve Doyle on bass. This concert will be a celebration of the launch of Lavin's first solo CD, "Possibilities." There is a $35 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
