NYC: KAREN OBERLIN IN POST-CONVENTION SONG SOIREE
2011 MAC and Nightlife Award winner Karen Oberlin returns to the THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Friday, October 21st at 9:30 pm for an exciting, exclusively-designed show following her performance in the Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center earlier the same evening. Oberlin will perform highlights from her award-winning, highly acclaimed shows and recordings, plus new ones and surprise song debuts by a few of our most beloved songwriters. Songs performed will include selections by Loesser, Harburg, Mandel, Jobim, Sondheim, Arlen, Fields, Mitchell and more, from the hilarious to the heart-wrenching.
