ALL-STAR "TWENTY-ONE SONG SALUTE" TO BENEFIT LAURI STRAUSS LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION

ALL-STAR "TWENTY-ONE SONG SALUTE" TO BENEFIT LAURI STRAUSS LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION
FEATURED CABARET BENEFIT EVENT

Christine Andreas, Tom Wopat, Billy Stritch, Jim Caruso, Debbie Gravitte, Lori Wilner, Mark Sanders, Debra Monk, the Mark Stuart Dance Theatre and the Broadway Boys are among the talents on tap for this year's musical celebration and fund-raiser for the THE LAURIE STRAUSS LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION

Titled "Twenty-One Song Salute," to mark the Foundation's 21st annual music-making to support grants for medical research, the show will be hosted by WQXR's Midge Woolsey. Produced by "Broadway By the Year's" Scott Siegel, with musical direction by Ross Patterson, the show takes place on Monday evening, November 7th, at 7:30 pm, at FREDERICK P. ROSE HALL (Columbus Circle, Broadway at 60th Street, NYC - CenterCharge: 212-721-6500 - ), home of Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Lauri Strauss was a vivacious young woman who died of acute myelogenous leukemia more than two decades ago, at the age of 26. Over these years, this family-run foundation has raised and distributed more than $4 million for the study and treatment of leukemia and allied diseases.

In a special moment mid-show, a bone-marrow recipient will be introduced, on stage and for the first time, to the donor whose marrow contribution literally provided the gift of life.

Contributors' tickets for the evening start at $125 per person, of which $75 is tax-deductible. Popular-priced tickets are also available at the Rose Hall box office for $35, $50, $75 and $100. For information: please contact the THE LAURIE STRAUSS LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION via the web (http://www.lslf.org/ ) or telephone 516-767-1415
