NYC: KIM SMITH HOSTS VAUXHALL KABARETT - NOW MONTHLY
Kim Smith is currently serving as as resident host of "Vauxhall Kabarett," a late-night musicale at VLADA LOUNGE (331 West 51st Street, NYC - 212-974-8030 - ) the first Monday of each month starting at 9:00 pm. Taking inspiration from both 1920s Berlin boy-bars and 1950s New York nightlife, Vauxhall features taut, shirtless bar boys, absinthe cocktails and a glittering parade of musical guests. This weeks guests, on Monday, May 2nd, are theatre singer Joelle Lurie and accordionist extraordinaire Seth Bedford. As usual, Kim will play host and sing of pop-tastic Weimar heartbreak, to the piano accompaniment of Steven Ray Watkins. There is no cover charge.
