NYC: SCOTT ALAN RETURNS TO BIRDLAND
The Broadway at Birdland concert series presents the return of composer/lyricist Scott Alan toBIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) on Monday, April 18th at 7:00 pm. Alan will be joined by some of his Broadway friends for this one-night concert. With three successful albums and two upcoming productions of his work, Alan will be celebrating past works as well as debuting new songs. Those scheduled to appear include: Christopher Sieber, Laura Osnes, Nikki Renee Daniels, Raena White, Christiane Noll, Darius de Haas, Mykal Kilgore, Zak Resnick, Kyle Dean Massey, Crystal Monee Hall and Cassie McIvor. Many of Broadway's elite have sung Scott Alan's music, including Liz Callaway, Shoshana Bean, Adriane Lenox, Stephanie J. Block, Cheyenne Jackson, Eden Espinosa and more, all of whom can be heard on his debut CD "Dreaming Wide Awake: The Music of Scott Alan," now available on his website and iTunes. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
