NYC: KIM SMITH HOSTS VAUXHALL KABARETT - NOW AT 9:00 PM
Kim Smith is currently serving as as resident host of "Vauxhall Kabarett," a late-night musicale atVLADA LOUNGE (331 West 51st Street, NYC - 212-974-8030 - ) every Monday night starting at a new start time: 9:00 pm. Taking inspiration from both 1920s Berlin boy-bars and 1950s New York nightlife, Vauxhall features taut, shirtless bar boys, absinthe cocktails and a glittering parade of musical guests. This weeks guests, on Monday, April 18th, are Justin Sayre (creator and star of 2011 MAC Award nominated old-world programme "The Meeting") and the divinely soulful piano genius Sam Nedel. As usual, Kim will play host and sing of pop-tastic Weimar heartbreak, to the piano accompaniment of Steven Ray Watkins. There is no cover charge.
