The Ken Silver Ensemble will be performing at BOB EGAN'S NEW HOPE - SUPPER CLUB AND CABARET (6426 Lower York Road, Route 202, New Hope, PA - 215-862-5225 - ) on Friday, March 18th at 8:30 pm, along with guest vocalist Adrienne Aje and pianist Dean Schneider. For more than three decades, private party and special event audiences have enjoyed the sophisticated, smooth sounds of the Ken Silver Ensemble. Silver is one of the area's most prominent band leaders and talented entertainers renown for his group's performances at parties, weddings and anniversary celebrations, charitable, social and corporate events. With his exceptional troupe of musicians, many of whom are gifted arrangers and notable recording artists in their own right, the Ken Silver Ensemble creates a distinctive musical sound with a diverse repertoire of American classics and standards, from Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald and Nate King Cole to Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, Barry Manilow and more. This unique entertainment ensemble creates a controlled, moderate sound by blending keyboards, percussion, bass, clarinet, saxophone and vocals into an enjoyable and entertaining popular musical mix. There is a $15 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
