CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals)presents "Have I got a Story for You!" presenting Great Story Songs from 1930-2010 at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - on Sundays in March, the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th at 7:00 pm. Over 30 talented singers will perform America's favorite story songs. Each night will feature 20 years of memorable stories melodically told starting in 1930 and going all the way to the hits of today. On March 13th: 1950s & 1960s featuring Puff the Magic Dragon, Leader of the Pack and Eleanor Rigby. Performers include Musical Director: Nick Sula; Director: Melissa Young; Cast: Scott Gryder, KT McCammond, Marianne Murphy Orland and Rus Rainear. On March 20th: 1970s & 1980s featuring Tapestry, You're So Vain and Bad, Bad Leroy Brown. Performers include Musical Director: Paul Hamilton; Director: Hilary Ann Feldman; Cast: Tracy Adams, Ira Carol, Elizabeth Dowling, Tommy Hensel, Liz Norton and Robert Whorton. On March 27th: 1990 to today featuring Viagra in the Water and Daniel Johnston's Story of an Artist. Performers include include Musical Director: Beckie Menzie; Director: Laura Freeman; Cast: Tom Michaels, Aram Monisoff, Lisa Rock, Catherine Thomson. As with all live entertainment events, performers are subject to change without notice. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
