A MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT
On Wednesday, March 2nd, Katerina's Composers Studio, hosted by Jeannie Tanner, continues at KATERINA'S CLUB (1920 West Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL - 773-348-7592 - ) from 7:30 to 11:30 pm. This monthly showcase features singer/songwriters and composers from the Chicago area. This month the showcase will feature the gifted composers Ami Saraiya, Jodi Jean Amble and Stephanie Rogers, with special guests June Shellene & Sarah G (from Jenny Dragon). There will be performances by all of the artists, along with conversations with these singer-songwriters. Host Jeannie Tanner will interview the artists during the evening and open up the discussions, taking audience questions. The highlight of these shows continues to be the "improv songwriting" segment - as the songwriters take suggestions from the audience to compose on-the-spot. There us a $7 cover.
