S.F: SONY HOLLAND TOURING NEW CD: "SANSSOUCI"
Sony Holland's early SF fans have watched her go from busking at Fisherman's Wharf to the stages of top clubs and festivals across the U.S. and Asia. Now based in L.A. she is currently touring her new CD, "Sanssouci" (Van Ness/September 2010) and will be appearing on Sunday, February 27th at RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) at 3:00 pm. From Songbook standards to the Rufus Wainwright penned title track, "Sansoucci" is the work of a spirited and skilled artist. Sony's clear and expressive voice brings life to lyrics aided by her keen sense of dynamics: a feather soft delivery that builds effortlessly into powerful bell tones. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
