PA: SHARON McNIGHT RETURNS TO BOB EGAN'S NEW HOPE
Cabaret singer, Broadway's Tony nominee, Theater World Award winner and winner of New York's coveted MAC Award for Best Cabaret Show, SHARON McNIGHT, will return to BOB EGAN'S NEW HOPE - SUPPER CLUB AND CABARET(6426 Lower York Road, Route 202, New Hope, PA - 215-862-5225 with a new show, "THE FIRST 30 YEARS" - From Moose Hall to Carnegie Hall (and all the gin joints in between) on Saturday, February 26th at 8:30 pm. Ms. McNight will be accompanied by Ian Herman on the piano. In "The First 30 Years," Sharon shares her quixotic experiences from performing on a stage of stacked beer cases in San Francisco's Castro District to starring on Broadway in "Starmites" or from the Reno Rodeo to the Frankfort Opera House. The California native is a favorite with concert and cabaret audiences, and is known for her sardonic comedy style and wry comments plus an eclectic mix of songs from "Desperado" to the reenactment of "The Wizard of OZ." To many, her off-the-cuff ad libs and audience participation may be the most revered elements of any McNight show; "The First 30 Years" is no exception. There is a $30 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
