LON: MISS DEMEANOUR AT THE BATTERSEA BARGE TONIGHT
Back from a successful Miss DeMeanour show in Cape Town and with a brilliant new pianist on board, Aletia Upstairs will perform at BATTERSEA BARGE (Riverside Walk, Nine Elms Lane, London - 020 7498 004) on Wednesday, February 23rd at 8:00 pm. She's a bit naughty, a bit nasty but good, good, good company. The show is a cabaret celebrating new experiences and adventures in lust, love and longing with the music of Weill, Brel, Manilow and Sondheim sprinkles of Shakespeare, stand-up comedy, puppetry, Jazz, Latin, Chanson and songs from Annie Ross and Kirsty MacColl plus music from Aletia Upstairs' album, Possibility and 2 new recently launched singles from her upcoming album. The South African born singer-songwriter has entertained audiences in South Africa, Italy, Germany, Korea, Japan and the US. She is accompanied by award winning pianist Fergal O'Mahony.
