NYC: MARK JANAS' SALON RETURNS: "THE BEST OF OFF-BROADWAY"
Mark Janas' Salon is held at ETCETERA ETCETERA (352 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-399-4141) every Sunday evening from 7:00 to 10:30 pm with one intermission. The Salon returns this Sunday, January 23rd. The Salon is where singers, writers and musicians share their talent with each other and audience members around a chosen theme. As always, the theme is only a suggestion; you may perform anything you like in any musical genre: Broadway, pop, rock, country, jazz, classical, etc. The optional theme for Sunday, January 16th is "The Best of Off-Broadway". Co-Host will be musical theatre composer & entertainer Jimmy Roberts. Salon Spotlight will feature the Jim Brochu & Steve Schachlin. There are no reservations; seating is on a first come/ first served basis, with one intermission. Doors open and sign up begins at 6:15 pm. There is a $10 cash cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
