FLA: THE LADIES OF JAZZ AT THE EAST OCEAN BISTRO
Vicki Belmonte and Lorri Hafer present a "Tribute to the Ladies of Jazz" on Saturday, January 29th from 7:00 to 10:00 am at THE EAST OCEAN BISTRO(2661 Southeast Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, FL - 772-221-1815). Actress/singer Vicki Belmonte orignated the role of Sister Mary Hubert in the Off Broadway production of "Nunsense", and was featured in the ORIGINAL Broadway cast of "Bye Bye Birdie". She played the part of Carol Burnett's best friend in the movie, "The Grass Is Always Greener Over The Septic Tank", and also appeared in the movie "9 To 5" with Jane Fonda. Big Band /Jazz vocalist Lorri Hafer was the lead vocalist on the Hillside Singers version of the worldwide Coca Cola song, "I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing In Perfect Harmony", celebrating it's 40th anniversary this year. She has travelled worldwide as the featured vocalist with The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Les Brown's Band Of Renown and The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra with Buddy Morrow. She is currently an "on air personality" for The "Music Of Your Life" radio network. Reservations strongly suggested. Sunset Jazz menu available until 6:00 pm.
