NYC: KIM SMITH HOSTS VAUXHALL KABARETT
Kim Smith is currently serving as as resident host of "Vauxhall Kabarett," a late-night musicale at VLADA LOUNGE (331 West 51st Street, NYC - 212-974-8030 - ) every Monday night starting at 10:30 pm. Taking inspiration from both 1920s Berlin boy-bars and 1950s New York nightlife, Vauxhall features taut, shirtless bar boys, absinthe cocktails and a glittering parade of musical guests. This week, on Monday, January 31st, features a classically-trained lineup, fleshed out by New york City’s tallest bass-barotine, Bryce Smith, alongside the glamorous vocalisations of singer/dancer Lindsey Holloway. As usual, Kim will play host and sing of pop-tastic Weimar heartbreak, to the piano accompaniment of Steven Ray Watkins. There is no cover charge.
