NYC favorite Chris Barrett is making his Florida cabaret debut in south Florida's newest cabaret / jazz venue, THE TORCH CLUB (2155 North Dixie Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, FL - 954-588-5001) on Sundays, January 30th and February 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th at 1:30 pm (Pre-Show Brunch served at Noon). The new show, "BARRETT'S BROADWAY" will feature Chris' pick's of well-known and lesser-known Broadway songs. These songs will relate to stories from Chris's career and of life in "the cabaret business" in general. Chris Barrett is a veteran saloon singer of thirty=eight years. He has appeared in New York's top hotels and clubs, across the US and in Europe. In recent years, Chris has performed critically acclaimed cabaret shows at Don't Tell Mama, Judy's Chelsea, Helen's, Dillon's, Danny's Skylight Room and The Metropolitan Room, where he will return this May and June performing "BARRETT'S BROADWAY - memoirs of a saloon singer".
