NYC: "BLACK ON BROADWAY: "A HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR"
"Bending Threads", A new cabaret troupe out of New York City will collaborate with Arbender Robinson and other Broadway Performers from Hair, Ragtime, Hairspray, The Little Mermaid and many more for a new Cabaret Series named "Black on Broadway" on Monday, December 13th at 7:00 pm atTHE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438). The series originates from the up-and-coming Cabaret Vocal group made up of Westley T. Holiday, Kareen Foster, Patrice Bell and Rejinald Woods, four working actors who self-produce their own Cabaret shows. Bending Threads is an innovative cabaret collaborative that seeks to entertain, educate, and cultivate an active theatrical audience. A Quartet of four African- American theater artists come together to perform a myriad of songs through different perspectives. "Black on Broadway: "A Holiday Spectacular" will include performances from Broadway Artists, Poetry Collaborations, Door Prizes and performances by Bending Threads. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
