Winner of the 2010 MAC Award for Outstanding Male Vocalist, NYC cabaret performer Hector Coris presents the final NYC performances of the acclaimed debut solo show which earned him the 2010 MAC Award for Outstanding Vocalist: Life is Wonderful, at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Tuesday, November 16th at 7:00 pm. In his debut solo show, Hector explores the musicality of mortality through the words and music of Ben Folds, Kander and Ebb, Zoe Lewis, Susan Werner, Brett Kristofferson, David Caldwell, My Chemical Romance, William Finn and other contemporary songwriters. Musical direction is by Ray Bailey, with direction by Angela Shultz. Dale Henderson joins on cello. For this final performance, NYC cabaret favorite Hector is heralding his impending move to Phoenix, AZ by adding new material to the show: a brand new song written by Hector Coris and Bill Zeffiro, a surprise guest duet and more surprises!
