NYC: BOB HOPE SONGBIRD JAN DALEY AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
West Coast chanteuse, Jan Daley, will debut her new CD and vintage video of her appearances in wartime Viet Nam at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Sunday, November 14th at 7:00 pm. Jan toured the world as the singing star of Bob Hope's Christmas Tour. She entertained over 100,000 troops in VietNam and around the globe. Her new CD is a tribute to her former boss, usually known as a King of Comedy. Jan, however, has chosen to showcase the love songs he introduced to the world in films and on Broadway, as well as some of her originals. The show will include vintage video of Jan in Viet Nam circa early 1970's to open the evening. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
