CHI: SHARON McNIGHT'S TWISTED CHRISTMAS TOUR - FIRST STOP CHICAGO
Sharon McNight brings her holiday show, "TWISTED XMAS: A Druid's View of the Holidays" on tour this year.The show is an observance of a different kind guaranteed to "sleigh" you: an irreverent look at the traditions of the season. Over the last decades at holiday fundraisers, while Debbie Boone touted a "White Christmas" and Bruce Vilanch roasted his chestnuts on an open fire, Sharon McNight offered an alternative choice from the expected songs. She has stockpiled a myriad of outrageous, wacky musical commentary on the 12 days of everything from Santa, Jesus, Teddy Bears, elves, snow, and yes, Bette Davis. The first stop is on Sunday, November 28th at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830). Additional dates are in the L.A. area.
