TODAY IN L.A.: ACTRESS/SINGER SALLY CHAMPLIN AT THE GARDENIA - One Night Only
Actress/singer Sally Champlin will be performing at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) for one night only on Wednesday, August 18th at 9:00 pm. Along with her recurring role as "Lynette" on NBC's hit series, Heroes, Miss Champlin's TV and film credits also include appearances on The Game, Disney's Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Frasier, Crossing Jordan, and Murphy Brown, as well as on The Young and the Restless and Beverly Hills, 90210. In high school she earned four music scholarships, and she has written songs with Dizzy Gillespie, Ron Carter, Mike Longo, and David Baker, and she co-wrote an original musical, Snow Business, with her brother, Bill Champlin, two-time Grammy winner and long-time member of the rock group, Chicago. In addition to her studio work, she has printed two solo CD's: The Contralto and The Big Sweet. Call for cover/minimum information.
