Jackie Fornatale is bringing back her critically acclaimed tribute celebrating 51 years with Motown one more time - but as a special benefit performance to kick off the Cabaret Cares season! The show will be at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER(407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Sunday, August 22nd at 4:00 pm, Songs in the show include favorites from The Supremes, the Temps, the Tops, Stevie, Smokey, Martha & the Vandellas, The Marvalettes and The Jackson 5 - and more. The show features Gerry Dieffenbach as Musical Director, with Liz Lark Brown on Vocals, Mike Fornatale on Guitar and Vocals, Matt Lindsey on Bass and Eddy Zweiback on Drums. Lennie Watts directs. There will also be a raffle for some Motown memorabilia. And all proceeds will benefit Help Is On the Way Today - an organization assisting children and teens living with HIV and AIDS. There is a $25 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
