NYC: JANE BURBANK SINGS "A TRIBUTE TO QUEENS" AT THE TRIAD
THE TRIAD (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590 - ) and the Just A Piano Concert Series presents recording artist Jane Burbank in "A Tribute to Queens" on Thursday, June 10th at 7:00 pm. Ms. Burbank is celebrating her third CD release, "My Romance," which is currently available at http://www.JaneBurbank.com/ and will be soon available on iTunes. In "A Tribute to Queens" Ms. Burbank will sing songs made popular by many of our most influential musical "queens," such as Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin and Elton John. Performing during International Gay Pride Month, Ms. Burbank will donate a portion of her proceeds to Marriage Equality New York. The evening features Broadway's Daniel Weiss whom New York audiences will remember as pianist/conductor of RENT and most recently returning to Broadway as an assistant conductor in the current hit revival of HAIR. 2010 Bistro Award Winner, Broadway Veteran and creator of the JUST A PIANO Concert Series, Lee Summers, directs "A Tribute to Queens". There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
