L.A.AREA: "LIVE IT UP UNPLUGGED" DEBUTS IN PALM SPRINGS
Following last month's two sold-out shows at The Pollock Theatre at College Of The Desert, "Live It Up UNPLUGGED" will play the show room at BLAME IT ON MIDNIGHT (777 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA - 760-323-1200 - ) as part of the Summer Cabaret Series which features entertainment every week end presented by Les Michaels who hosts a weekly show there Fridays at 8 PM. Performances are Saturday, June 12th at 9:00 pm, and Sunday, June 13th at 8:00 pm. Live It Up is a combination of pop and Broadway hits with a cast of 11 professional singers and dancers with such Broadway credits as "Smokey Joe's Cafe" and "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat", to Disneyland Resorts and regional Equity productions. UNPLUGGED will be concert style, which is perfect for the supper club, show room setting with popular music hits in the first half, and Broadway hits from "Phantom of the Opera", "Jersey Boys", "Wicked", and more in the second half and will include a 10 minute intermission. Live It Up founder, choreographer and musical director, Trini Garza, a Broadway and Las Vegas veteran, will stage the show. There is a $10 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
