L.A.: THE VIC & PAUL SHOW - THREE WEEKENDS IN JUNE
The Vick & Paul show, starring the legendary founders of Chicago's Practical Theatre Co., Victoria Zielinski & Paul Parrosse, will be presented at PUSH LOUNGE (20969 Ventura Boulevard, Woodland Hills, CA - RESV:http://vicandpaulshow.doattend.com/ ) on Thursdays through Sundays, June 10th through 13th, 17th through 20th & 24th through 27th, all shows at 8:00 pm. It will be "an evening of Comedy, Music, Marriage & Martinis". Married in 1990, Paul Barrosse and Vic Zielinski have worked in LA as Emmy- nominated TV producers. Now, after raising their three kids "from diapers to diplomas," they're going back on stage to do what they were doing before they got married: performing sophisticated comedy sketches and music in an intimate cabaret setting, in the mold of early Second City or classic Mike Nichols & Elaine May. Vic & Paul are joined by their musical director, Emmy-winner Steve Rashid, who is coming from Chicago to accompany them on keyboards. Directed by Shelly Goldstein, who will also perform a cabaret set for the second half of the show. Tickets are $10 the first weekend, then rise to $20 after the 13th.
