NYC: BRACY AND JONES PERFORM TOGETHER, AT LAST!

MARY O'S (32 Avenue A, NYC - 212-505-5610) presents Cedric Jones and Erika Bracy in their first cabaret performance together, on Thursday, January 22nd and Sunday, January 25th - all shows at 8:00 pm. The show 'Erika & Ceddy: At Last!' will feature duet and solo performances of material spanning generations and styles. The show will also feature well known pianist Jason Laney. Erika Bracy is an actor, singer and activist. She has worked as the Director of Green Initiatives/Charity Liaison at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. Past stage performances include T.S. Elliot's Murder in the Cathedral and The Manhattan Project. Cedric Jones is an actor, singer and writer. He most recently performed at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre with Lisa Hancock in C'mon Get Happy, a benefit for Braking AIDS Ride and Housing Works. His book, We Whisper and Other Poems is now available online and at select bookstores. There is a $10 cover.

NYC: STING*CHRONICITY WITH ROSEMARY LOAR

STING*chronicity, with Rosemary Loar will be presented at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, January 22nd; Saturday, February 21pm, Sunday, March 8th and Thursday, April 2nd. All shows are at 7pm. The show offers a combination of monologues with a variety of musical arrangements of the music of the contemporary songwriter, Sting. The show is "set" in Madison Square Garden on the occasion of the final reunion concert of the iconic band, The Police, which was headed by Sting. STING*chronicity surveys the diverse audience, and their very varied interpretations of his music as the words of his songs are filtered by their unique lives and experiences. The show includes many of Sting's most popular and including "Message In A Bottle", "Moon Over Bourbon Street," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "Roxanne," "Every Breath You Take." as well as some lesser known songs, like "Ghost Story," a song from Sting's Broadway show, The Last Ship. Monologues were provided by some of New York's most impressive playwrights: Diana Amsterdam, Mike Folie, Matt Hoverman, Cheryl Stern, Robert W. Atwood and Rosemary Loar, plus a charming offering from 13 year old Mia Katz. Loar conceived, directed and starred in the popularThe Alternative Torch series at Symphony Space from 2004-2006. As a recording artist, she can be heard on Sting's soundtrack for the movie The Emperor's New Groove, the cast albums of Chess and Sunset Boulevard and on The Listening Library Series. Last year she release of her sixth album, When Harry Met The Duke, a tribute to Duke Ellington and Harold Arlen. Barry Kleinbort who recently received rave reviews for directing John Epperson: Show Trash off-Broadway is at the director's helm. Renowned jazz artist/pianist and arranger Frank Ponzio will serve as musical director and will be joined by jazz bassist Tom Hubbard. Ms. Loar's extensive musical theater credits include a critically acclaimed turn as Grizabella in Cats, Sunset Boulevard (with Glenn Close), The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (with John Larroquette in L.A. and Shuler Hensley at Madison Square Garden), You Can't Take It With You, and Chess, as well as Once Upon A Mattress with Sarah Jessica Parker. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: DANCING WITH DEATH - THOMAS HONECK

The award winning Entertainer of Himself, Thomas Honeck, returns to the stage at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) for his 3rd solo show after a seven year hiatus on Thursday, January 22nd at 7:00 pm. Thomas was last seen in his MAC Award winning show "Dreaming Wide Awake," a show about how dreaming can alter the course of a life. When not on the stage, he has spent the last 17 years studying with Shamans from around the world. Despite all the cultural differences, what he resoundingly learned was that to truly celebrate life, you must fully embrace death. A self-proclaimed "Dark Humorist", Honeck's "Dancing with Death" carefully weaves crafted stories into songs to provide a thought provoking, but comic look at life through the eyes of death. It is a ruminating rumba on our relationship with Death and how her choreography can influence life, featuring songs by Peter Gabriel, Laura Nyro, Chris De Burgh and Mary Chapin-Carpenter. The dance card will be one of Music, Merriment and Madness - well, just a touch. Directed by his creative partner, Lisa Moss, the same team that produced the critically acclaimed "Social Intercourse" and "Sing Me A Story." Thomas and Lisa were both recently honored with a 2014 Bistro Award for being a highly innovative and creative team. Musical Direction by Andrew Sotomayor, with Jordan Jancz on cello. In lieu of a cover, please bring a check made out to "JDRF" (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) or The ALS Association for a suggested amount of $15 (or what you can afford) - cash or credit accepted, but it's just not a tax donation for you. The 2-drink minimum still applies.

NYC: 22 BAD DECISIONS WITH AMY MARIK

Amy Marik presents a special One Night Only engagement of her show "22 Bad Decisions" at the historic THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Thursday, January 22nd at 9:30 pm. Amy reflects upon her 22 years on this planet and examines all the bad decisions she's made thus far. Come celebrate 22 awkward years on this planet featuring New York City's finest up and coming talent. Also featured in the show are Andi Aldaheff, Morgan Assante, Serena Berman, Sean Doherty, Sara Glancy, Christian Lane Green, Kaci Jones, Renee Reinecki, and Alan Smith. Amy is a NYC based performer and has been seen as Nadia in Bare: A Pop Opera (SDFA) and Ilse in Spring Awakening (Stage 773) as well as many concerts throughout the city. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MARTHA LORIN AND JON WEBER AT DON'T TELL MAMA

Jazz vocalist Martha Lorin and NPR's Jon Weber will present 'A Celebration Of Harold Arlen' at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Thursday, January 22nd at 7:00 pm. Singer/ Lyricist/ Songwriter Martha Loren and Jon Weber, rising star of the NPR's Piano Jazz, will entertain with a program about jazz musicians and singers who performed Harold Arlen's music. Selections include: Ill Wind, Stormy Weather, Blues In The Night, That's A Fine Kind Of Freedom, Let's Fall In Love, Old Black Magic and more. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: BROADWAY SESSIONS THURSDAYS AT THE LAURIE BEECHMAN

Every Thursday night, as the curtains fall on Broadway, Host Ben Cameron (from Broadway's Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and his crew of amazingly talented folks welcome a new Broadway star to perform at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) at 10:30 pm in this fun and zany musical theater variety show. Get up close and personal with Broadway's brightest as the stars bare their souls, interact with the crowd and celebrate all things BROADWAY. There is a $5 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: 54 BELOW CELEBRATES THE RETURN OF CHRISTINE EBERSOLE

54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) celebrates the return engagement of two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole with her show 'Big Noise From Winnetka' on Wednesdays through Saturdays, January 21st through 24th and 28th through 31st, all shows at 7:00 pm. Here 54 Below appearance follows a sold out 2 week run of her new show=. Christine's show returns for 8 performances, with musical director Bette Sussman (Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler) leading Christine's 4 piece band and vocalist Tabitha Fair. The concert features both classic and re-imagined Broadway hits, pop and jazz classics and anecdotes about growing up. Winner of two Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical (42nd Street and Grey Gardens), Christine co-stars on the hit TBS series Sullivan & Son (now in it's 3rd season). Christine has starred in film (Wolf of Wall Street), television (Royal Pains) and has performed concerts in theaters and concert halls across the country, from The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall to The Pasadena and Boston Pops. This past fall, Christine appeared in the PBS Television special "Michael Feinstein: Live from The Rainbow Room." NYC: MITCHELL JARVIS MAKES SOLO CABARET DEBUT AT 54 BELOW

Mitchell Jarvis makes his solo concert debut at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Thursday, January 22nd at 9:30 pm. It's a show about a man who believes he is Jacques Brel - not a reincarnation but the man himself. Told entirely in Brel songs with surprising contemporary arrangements and actual Brel quotes woven throughout, it's an examination of Love, Death and Hope. Backed by a four-piece band, Jarvis channels Brel for a new generation - living everywhere. Jarvis originated the role of Lonny in Rock of Ages, and is co-creator and star of the web series, "It Could Be Worse". He played Keith Stone, spokesperson for Keystone Light beer, and is a frequent guest with the Skivvies. There is a $30-$60 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
