NYC: 60 HOUR MARATHON CABARET VARIETY SHOW ATTEMPTS GUINNESS RECORD - FIRST 60 PERFORMERS ANNOUNCED!
CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE IS A PROUD CO-SPONSOR OF THIS EVENT

THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) will attempt to achieve a Guinness World Record by presenting a 3-day, 60 hour, marathon Variety Show running from Thursday, January 1st (New Year's Day) at 7:00 pm through Sunday, January 4th at 7:00 am. The marathon, which is eligible to become a Guinness World Records record-holder for longest variety show ever, will feature up to 100 Metropolitan Room artists, from its most prominent stars to its most promising emerging talents. On two nights of the event, Friday & Saturday, January 2nd & 3rd, Marilyn Maye will perform a full hour show at 7:00 pm. (Separate ticket purchase necessary).

Over 60 cabaret stars are already signed on to perform including: From the worlds of Broadway, jazz and cabaret: Tony Danza, Marilyn Maye, Bill Boggs, Emily Bergl, Julie Budd, Heather MacRae, Joseph Sirola, Jeff Harnar, Shauna Hicks, KT Sullivan, Baby Jane Dexter, Luba Mason, Anna Bergman, Aaron Weinstein, Jim Brochu, Shana Farr, Richard Pryor Jr., Lina Koutrakos, Tracy Stark, Jamie deRoy, Iris Williams, Steve Ross, Maxine Linehan, Joanne Tatham, Eric Yves Garcia, Dana Lorge, Laurie Krauz, Barry Levitt, Kat Gang, Marieann Meringolo, Karen Oberlin, Sean Harkness, Michelle DellaFave, Devin Bing, Jay Rogers, Marcus Simeone, Sue Matsuki, Adam Shapiro, Janice Hall, Kathleen France, Chrysten Peddie, Michele Bautier, Rick Jensen, Victor Neufeld. From the comedy and magic worlds: Judy Gold, Eddie Brill, Harrison Greenbaum, Ricky Ritzel, Warren Schein, Matthew Holtzclaw, Michael Six Muldoon, Matias Letelier, Jeffrey Gurian. From burlesque and drag: Hedda Lettuce, Quinn Lemley, Brita Filter, Sasha Pierce, David F. Slone. From the puppet world: Jonathan Ellers, Flor Bromley, Jenny Hann.

A complete line-up of the participating artists - anticipated to number 100 - will be announced on December 1st on the club's website. Day passes cost $25 per person, or $60 for a three-day pass. The club offers a complimentary beverage with each ticket purchased. There are no other food/drink minimums except for the Marilyn May shows.
